I have known Charlie Matlock for several years and know that he does very good work and is a good artist for doing custom work also.
I own a restaurant and bar in Oregon and have a lot of his work hanging in it. He made a plow disc into a picture of my place and you put a light behind it and it comes to life. I have seen gates that he has designed he is just pure awesome!

I own several pieces of Charlie Matlock's work.
The coat rack is always in use as a convenient place to hang a hat and flannel shirt for quick trips outside. No one believes me when I tell them that Charlie makes those beautiful trees out of angle iron.
My husband gave me one of Charlie's milk cans for Christmas one year. Charlie created a buffalo on one side and an Indian on horseback on the other. I placed a piece of white poste paper inside the can which conforms to the shape, then added a 25 watt lightbulb. It's beautiful.
I bought one of Charlies' saw blades because I couldn't help myself. A snow covered mountain, stars and moon, beautiful etched tress and two bull elk with their antlers locked are gorgeous on the 3 foot diameter blade.

What can Charlie Matlock not do?
Absolutely nothing. He is an artist. A professional. Unique!
And a very intricate part of Americana.
From metal buildings to the most intricate of jewelry. Anything he creates is from a special space, and part of the old West. He's a simple man that is on the planet to create something beautiful.
I wish I had more of his artistry. I'm proud to say I know him! He is one of my special people that only come around once in a life time. Always has a good joke, and he's a heck of a story teller.
